Nextdoor published its own numbers on this and they are unusually direct: 53% of people found their pet sitter or dog walker through a neighbor recommendation. Not an app, not a search, not a directory — a neighbor. For most trades the group post is a good source among several. Here it is the main one, according to the platform being posted on.
