Groups Watcher alternatives for contractors

LeadHunter USA sends a push notification to your phone, in its own iPhone and Android app, when someone in a local Facebook group you have joined asks for your trade, usually within minutes. It costs $75 a month flat, with no limit on groups, areas or leads, and 7 days free with no credit card. It runs read-only on your own computer: your Facebook session never leaves your own disk, and it never posts, comments or messages.

We make LeadHunter USA, so it comes first, in our words. Then what Groups Watcher says about itself, and five more alternatives, each in its own words.

Everything said here about another company is a quote from that company’s own website, with the page it is on named as its source. Every quote is checked against its source daily; last confirmed 4 November 2026. A quote that is no longer on their site is removed automatically. Product names belong to their owners, and LeadHunter USA is not affiliated with any of them.

LeadHunter USA, in our words

A desktop app on your own computer watches the local Facebook groups you are already a member of (town, neighborhood and HOA groups), and pushes a matching post to your phone with a link straight to it. It never posts, comments, likes or messages, and it never contacts the homeowner for you.

Because it runs on your own membership it sees the private groups you have joined — and only those. That is the feature and the limit in the same sentence: if you are not in the groups, there is nothing for it to watch. If the computer sleeps, the watching stops until it wakes.

LeadHunter USA — $75 a month flat across every area and every local Facebook group, running on your own membership and read-only: it never posts, comments or messages, and we never resell your leads. Seven days free, no credit card.
