A business number for calls and texts, in an app on your phone. What you get, what it costs, and the first steps.
What you get
A local business number, separate from your cell. Pick a new one by city or area code, or bring a number you already have.
Calls in and out in the LeadHunter USA app on your phone, and from the dashboard on a computer. Voicemail and call recordings. 1,000 minutes a month.
Texting is an add-on: $30, one time. See Texting registration. It includes 1,000 texts a month, sent and received together; over that, 3¢ a text, and we tell you first.
Works on the phone you already have, over its data or Wi-Fi. You keep your cell plan.
What it costs
Line Pro: $89 a month, or $888 a year. It includes: every call written out for you; new customer card filled in: name, phone, email, address; the visit you agreed on goes on your calendar; a quote or invoice drafted from what you said, ready to send; agreed to talk later? A reminder on your phone at that time; texts from new customers saved to your CRM.
Your first month of Line Pro is $39, an intro month to see how the whole system works and whether you’re happy with it. Then it’s $89 a month. No contract, cancel any time.
No hidden fees: no contract, no activation fee, no added 911 or “regulatory recovery” fees.
- Step 1: Open Add to your account in the menu and press Add next to LeadHunter USA Line.
- Step 2: Pick monthly or yearly, and whether you want texting.
- Step 3: Confirm your cell. We text you a code. Your business calls can ring there too.
- Step 4: Pick your business number.
- Step 5: Add your business details and your 911 address.
- Step 6: Review and pay. Stripe takes the payment.
Then Business Line in the menu shows where each part stands: incoming calls, outgoing calls and texting.
Get the app
- Step 1: Install the LeadHunter USA app on your phone and sign in with the same account.
- Step 2: When the app asks to use the microphone, tap Allow. Without it, people on your calls can’t hear you.
Your calls, texts and voicemails are in the app. Settings for calls are under Settings → Phone line → Calls, voicemail and recording.
Your 911 address
Calls from your Line number start once your 911 address is registered. Add it during sign-up, or under Emergency address on the Business Line page.
911 from the app always uses your phone’s own dialer. See 911 and your Line.
Calls from your own cell to your Line don’t ring you. To test it, call from another phone.
